JANET is the UK's education and research network for UK Universities, FE Colleges, Research Councils, Specialist Colleges, Adult and Community Learning providers and schools. JANET serves over 18 million end users.
 
Redstone's IP Network is directly connected to JANET in London,  this provides Schools, Colleges and LEA’s with a direct connection to JANET and the National Education Network (NEN). This provides fast uninterrupted access to the content and services on the NEN whilst also meeting the DfES requirement for all schools to have a connection to the NEN.
 
Redstone is a Tier 1 ISP accredited by Becta for Internet connectivity, with over 10 years experience of providing Internet Access services to Schools and Colleges.
 
Redstone Managed Solutions provides services to the education sector including Internet Connectivity, filtered email, content control, hosting and WebXchange - The Schools Examination transfer service.
